I’m Carmen Ho

I’m a designer, who like many, discovered their passion for user experience by wanting to become a software engineer. I was drawn to software engineering because I loved the challenge of problem-solving and building solutions that could make people's lives easier.

Throughout my time in university, I discovered I enjoyed the more user-facing aspects of the work and not so much the coding. I delved deeper into user experience design and discovered that I actually really enjoyed the process of creating meaningful experiences for people.

With the skills I’ve garnered from my experiences, I approach every project with a user-centered mindset and enjoy the process from ideation through to development.

I love working on projects in my spare time as a process of self-development. It pushes me to grasp new skills by reading UI/UX blogs and implementing new ideas. I enjoy the procedure of learning and am definitely learning every day.

Through my path to becoming a senior UI/UX designer, I hope to meet like-minded, motivated peers along the way who share the same values and passion as I do!
